Overview

Creganna-Tactx Medical offers a complete set of capabilities for extruded, braided & coil reinforced tubing to deliver a custom solution for your catheter shaft or specialty needle device. 

Our key focus in is assist you reduce your time to market by providing design expertise, material selection advice and a rapid turnaround on custom extrusions and braids.
We encourage development teams who require extruded or braided tubing solutions to consider performance requirements and clinical application of the solution at the outset, such as:

    Capabilities - Braided & Coil Reinfornced Tubing

    Our experience coupled with our capabilities to braid multiple wire, fabric sizes and shapes ensure that the optimal solution for your product application can be delivered, from guide catheter shafts to complex micro-catheters.
    • Braid materials - Nitinol, Stainless Steel, Platinum, Kevlar & assorted fabrics
    • Flat wire or round wire with diameters ranging from 0.0005in. to 0.010in.
    • Varying pitch on single shafts
    • Mutli-durometer braided shafts
    • PTFE or non-PTFE lined fro lubricity
    • Associated capabilities: insert-molding of luers & connectors, soft tipping 
     

    Capabilities - Extruded Tubing

    Custom extrusion for close-tolerance, single lumen, multi-lumen and bump tubing as well as wire coating, co-extrusion and profile extrusions are provided.
    • Materials: Polyamide, Polyurethane, Polyolefin, Polycarbonate, PVDF, Polypropylene, Hytrel, PET, Thermoplastic Elastomer materials & custom compounds.
    • Precise tolerance for monofilaments, over-extrusions, wire coating, radiopaque tuning in and any colour and braid coating
    • Diameters from 0.010in. to 0.225in., minimum wall thickness of 0.0015 in.
    • Expert tool design utilizing the most current Auto-Cad and Solidworks software
    • State of the art microprocessor controlled, closed-loop extruders
