Fusion

Fusion

Fusion Technology enables Nitinol to Stainless Steel tube welding. Product designers can now have Nitinol tube performance but without the cost.

When designers opt for Nitinol tubing for catheter design, it is typically in the distal section of the shaft that the unique attributes of the metal are employed. By using Nitinol in the distal section only and an economical metal tube for the proximal section, designers can optimise both the performance and the cost of the overall design.
