Luers & Strain Reliefs

Luers, or hubs allow for easy access to the catheter lumen for a number of functions such as the injection of fluids or drugs, or the introduction of guidewires.

An integral component of the luer assembly is the strain relief. It maximizes kink resistance at the proximal luer/hypotube bond by transmitting mechanical forces over a longer distance.

Overmoulding Technology

Creganna provides in-house overmoulding technology and services. Overmoulding forms an extremely strong bond between the luer, strain relief and hypotube.
